3 South Lakeland Neighborhoods to Consider

If you’re looking to move to Lakeland, you’ve probably been told to check out south Lakeland. It is no secret that home buyers prefer its great amenities, schools and neighborhoods, and makes a perfect choice for families and individuals alike. In this video, I’m going to give you my three favorite south Lakeland neighborhoods to consider in your home search.

So when picking these neighborhoods, I chose them off of three main criteria. The first is that it had to have many home sites available, but we’re not picking super small communities where they don’t ever pop up for sale. The second is I wanted to have a variety of homes to choose from. And third, I wanted the neighborhood to cover multiple price points.

Christina

Christina was developed in the 1970s from the site of an old phosphate mine and at the time was one of the first neighborhoods in South Lakeland. It is located just south of 540A and stretches from South Florida Avenue to Carter Road.

It’s tree covered roadways, give Christina a unique serene feel often missing in newer Florida communities. Christina has over 300 home sites, multiple subdivisions and dozens of architectural styles. This beautiful South Lakeland neighborhood gives homebuyers plenty of choices from condos to million dollar mansions. There is something for everyone in Christina.

Riverstone

From one of South Lakeland’s oldest communities, we’re going to head over to one of its newest in Riverstone. The Riverstone community is the second and larger phase to South Lakeland’s Towne Park Estates located just south of Pipkin road. This sprawling new community will hold over 1300 home sites with two swimming pools, two clubhouses, outdoor fitness center and dog park.

There are still several builders offering new construction homes within the community. And there are plenty of resale homes that pop up in the established Towne Park Estates. If you’re looking for a newer home with community amenities, then Riverstone is a great choice in South Lakeland.

Hallam Preserve

Our last south Lakeland neighborhood to consider is kind of a combination of the previous two. It combines serene natural surroundings with amenities of a newer community. This is Hallam Preserve.

Hallam Preserve is a gated community just south of 540A that features nine gated subdivisions. Hallam Preserve’s well-manicured lawns and landscaping give it a postcard worthy appeal and feature homes from some of Lakeland’s top builders.

There’s miles of walking trails throughout the community’s lush, natural surroundings. If you feel like indulging, Hallam Preserve also features a community pool and clubhouse as some of its community amenities.

Those are my neighborhood choices to consider when looking in South Lakeland. There are so many great South Lakeland communities to choose from, but if you help finding your next Lakeland home, all you have to do is give me a call. I can help find the perfect neighborhood to fit your needs.
